Origins

Originally from the Thames Valley area, the love of nature and the countryside quickly gained a hold on me with walks, and later cycle rides around various parts of Berkshire, including the beautiful Royal Windsor Great Park.
After a family relocation just outside Reading in Berkshire, there would be plenty of walks along the tranquil tow paths of the Kennet and Avon Canal, or cycle rides to other parts of Berkshire and into Hampshire.

Music

There was a love of music at an early age as well, and I always wanted to learn to play the drums, and it was with much delight that after that family move to near Reading, that a band was residing quite literally down the road in a former farm house.
The band in question was called Spooky Tooth, and it was great to hear their fantastic music as they would practice into the night from that farm house.

Electronics Hobby

Through my latter teenage years and youth, I gained an enthusiasm for the electronics hobby after reading some classic tutorial text books at the time, and also reading such magazines as Practical Wireless and Television.
I could even etch my own printed circuit boards as well for the various projects there were included in these magazines.

Wildlife Photography

Eventually, with my continual love of the countryside and wildlife, I took up wildlife photography for a while - only for it to be rekindled a few years ago, and I have also grasped the 'digital age' with a compact camera I bought last Autumn, and share some of my nature and wildlife photos also on my website.

Website Designing

A nice link - I also have a passion for website designing, and would also love to do that as a possible career change.

Computer Operating Systems

Apart from Microsoft 95, 98SE, 2000 Professional, and XP Professional (Upgrade version), I currently enjoy using the Linux Operating System known as Fedora, and of course, I use the most up-to-date version - Fedora 13.

The GIMP

Along with the digital photography, I have found an interest for the GNU Image Manipulation Program, or GIMP for short.
Naturally enough, I use it for resizing the various photograph images on my website.

Currently residing on my own in a small village in Kent.
I love the beautiful Kentish countryside.

Cooking: Residing on my own, I have to do my own cooking, and I simply love cooking my own Curries!
