Hornet: Vespa crabro vexator

Photo of Hornet: vespa crabro vexator. Hornets are docile or passive creatures, and will not sting or attack anyone unless they are provoked in the first place.
These are just two of the photos I took near my village last Autumn, and this species are rare in this area, but are spreading througout the South of England.
I include a website hyperlink here for you read and understand more about these passive and beautiful creatures.

A passion for the countryside:

In this Countryside Section of my website, I shall share my passion for the countryside, and "ramble" on about my walks here in the beautiful Kent countryside.

If you happen to reside in a large town, or a city, this section is meant to inspire you to get out in to the countryside, and not just sit there, and watch it on TV, there is no substitute for getting off one's bottom and venture into the countryside for yourselves, and see what a beautiful Country we all reside in. You cannot experience the countryside from your armchair.

Above all, please leave the countryside the way you found it (please take your litter home), so others can also enjoy our beautiful countryside.

Thank you!
