Okay, so one Daffodil doesn't make for a Spring Season, like one Swallow doesn't make a Summer.

A treat to see a Kestrel at such close quarters!

Kestrel

Not a particularly good quality photo of a Kestrel as the compact digital camera I own isn't very good at taking zoomed-in photographs. The Kestrel was fairly close, but still had to be zoomed-in to try and get a close-up photo though.

February 2010

Still rather chilly to be out and about for too long, but I have managed to get out over the past weekend to see what's going on - The Daffoldils are well a truly up now - One sign that Spring is on its way!

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard 'drumming' on a branch of a tree.

Male Chaffinches were heard with their mating calls.
