Bible study:
Prayer Power Defeats All Evil
As we are in The End of Days, or End Times, we Christians may find ourselves under Spiritual attack.
This Spiritual attack may take on many forms including nasty and evil 'thoughts' - not from the 'inside' (you're own thoughts) but from the outside and entering your mind.
These evil thoughts can come from evil Spirits and even from Demon possessed people and non-believers alike.
How many times as someone walked along the road and people start 'mouthing off' about that person, that is a type of curse and should be rebuked in Jesus' Name - Amen!
Walls can be very thin and one can hear 'mouthing off' about a person - again, this is a type of curse and should be rebuked in Jesus' Name - Amen!
The Apostle Paul says in Romans to "Avoid associating with people who gossip."
In this excellent web page "What's Wrong With Gossip?" Gives a comprehensive Teaching about gossip and how sinful it is. Gossip is SIN and should be rebuked in Jesus' Name - Amen!
What's Wrong With Gossip website: www.victorious.org/gossip.htm
Forgive those who gossip about you and pray to the Lord that He will keep you safe from evil trouble-makers - Amen!
Re: Do not judge others
I was going to write a piece about that subject, and when I checked
the internet for some Wholesome Christian website resources on just
that subject,
I came across this excellent website, and in fact,
it says all I wanted to say here - so to save repetition, here is the
hyperlink I found:-
Do
not judge
Also, a very good Christian website, again on this very same subject on the
Matthew 7:1 Bible Verse, can be found here:-

Re: Works, not just Faith
As Christians, we have all heard the secular expression - "Practice what you preach" - but indeed we should! I was just reading James 2:17-18 on just that subject.
Here is the text allowed by copyright from the New King James Version Holy Bible:-
17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. The New King James Version. Nashville : Thomas Nelson, 1982, S. Jas 2:17
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. Col. 1:6; 1 Thess. 1:3; Heb. 6:10 [Gal. 5:6]; James 3:13 The New King James Version. Nashville : Thomas Nelson, 1982, S. Jas 2:18.
"Works" here is purely putting into practice our Christian Faith - or, put another way, doing rather than just talking. Also, I have also heard the expression - "An empty vessel makes more noise than a full one" - the Apostle Paul says not to boast about "Good works" - but by simply doing will speak volumes of your Faith in Jesus - but by doing your Ministry for example, that too will set an example for others to follow.
I was doing some practical things in a local village Church. Now, I can show you my "Works", by these things that were put into practice - some voluntary work.
Tonight, ask the Lord in prayer what your Service or Ministry is - that means your "Talent" or "Gift" from the Lord. And what you feel happy most at what you can do, is generally your "Gift" to put into practice by doing the "Works" of Faith in Jesus - Amen!
So in Christian Love, the next time a worldly or secular person says their "party piece", you can show them.
