News!
Welcome to my Website!
February 2012
The physiotherapy will be starting soon on the road to recovery.
Many thanks to all my former friends on Facebook whom sent get well messages.
I closed down my Facebook web page after seeing a news report on the BBC News website regarding photographic Copyright.
The report stated that as soon as a person uploads a photo to Facebook, the copyright automatically passes over to Facebook.
That is a clear breach in UK Copyright Law, as the Copyright always stays with the Author or Owner of the photographic work(s).
One can completely delete an account on Facebook, rather then just make the account 'dormant' - from the 'Help' link, type "Delete Account" in the search box, then, and only if you really want to completely delete your account for good, click on the link within the text regarding how to permanently delete the Facebook account, like I did.
January 2012
Still recovering after an accident where I do voluntary conservation work once a month.
I slipped and fell when I left foot got wedged in between 2 clumps of previously coppiced trees, only the 2 stumps remained.
I went to hospital, where it was discovered I had broken my ankle, a fracture there, and just below the knee.
The plaster cast comes off soon, then, I start a few weeks of physiotherapy.
Though I cannot wait to get back to my nature conservation work.
November 2011
With a fairly recent purchase of a second-hand mountain bike, I can now search for and apply for jobs where there are no rail or bus services to.
Monday, 9 May 2011. A new Header photograph has replaced a computer generated countryside scene graphic with the real thing.
The photo was taken near Tonbridge close to the Haysden Country Park of the Weald of Kent.
